This medium bodied Pinot offers a tangy bite, with some fruitiness in the mid-range and a slightly sour finish. A musky edge, reminiscent of many generic French reds somewhat detracts from the overall rating. I love Pinots, but my batting average on "unknown" selections in the low priced range hasn't been very good. Maybe I have just had more practice with Zin, Shiraz, or Cab selections.
