1992 Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet

Appellation: Napa Valley, California

Good if overpriced Cabernet. Complex though reserved nose of dark currants and black pepper, with a strong tobacco edge (Turkish, accorking to one taster with an eye on the Pompmeter). Medium bodied and pleasant flavors with a slightly dry and tannic finish. Good stuff, but not remotely in the class of many other "elite" Cabs in its price range.
