Tasting Notes

One of the better Pinot Noir bargains on the market. It's not clear who Banchee gets their wine from (I gather they're a negociant of sorts), but this Pinot reminds me of a good Siduri Pinot Noir - very rich in the mouth and overflowing with velvety cherry- and plum-laced Pinot fruit. Not especially complex, and definitely not of a Burgundian lean-and-mean style, but a pleasure to drink with red meat or pasta.
