Interesting wine. Good opening, with Sangiovese-like strawberries and cherries standing out in a fairly forward nose. But somewhat tough-textured in the mouth, finishing with high acidity. We probably would have preferred it had the Sangiovese been left out! Good wine, but the depth is not quite there, and was a bit high in acid for our Zin-jaded tastes.
