Promising purple color. Attractive, spicy Burgundian nose displaying dark cherry and black pepper notes. But lacking the forward fruit and stuffing that we love in the best Beaujolais. I gave it "86" for the nose, but "78" for the insipid flavor and finish. Result: 82
