2006 Chardonnay Estate, Don Miguel Vineyard

Appellation: Russian River, Sonoma, California

This is a notch up from the already excellent 2005 Estate Chardonnay - richer, fuller, more complex. Crisp yet full in the mouth, this wine dislays a beautiful nose of lemon/lime citrus, subtle tropical fruits, vanilla and lots of cinammon/nutmeg spice. Nice weight in the mouth, clean and pure flavors, good length. Only problem is that the price keeps ratcheting up about 10% a year, which is getting painful.
