Tasting Notes

Tasting of 1-4-2010... Showed beautifully this time around. Lots of spice in the pruney/curranty/berry aromas that carry through in the flavors. Has a much more robust feel than the bottle tasted 3 years ago, yet is completely ready to drink. Rating: 91. Tasting of 12-26-2006.... Tasty and well-balanced, though I suspect it's a bit past its prime. Aromas and flavors dominated by cedar, spice, and fragrant herbs, with dark currant fruit barely perceptible in the earthy background. Somewhat dusty on the finish. Excellent wine, still delicous, but not the religious experience one always hopes for in these old Bordeaux's.
