Tasting Notes

Rioja is famous for its reds, but I loved this Rioja white. Exceedingly elegant, rich, balanced wine that blows away 95% of the Chardonnays on the market. Outstanding oak-tinged peach fruit in the nose, subtle spiced-pear flavors, perfect acid balance, rich and spicy finish. It would be hard to find a better white in this price range anywhere. I'm heading back to get a case.
