Tasting Notes

This Mosel is an absolutely delicious, food-friendly, wonderfully fruity yet crisply structured Riesling. Layers of apricot and sweet citrus fruit along with citrus blossom honey in the aromas and flavors - yet it's accompanied by a perfect bracing dose of crisp balancing acidity that seems almost unique to the better German Rieslings. Full, long, delicious wine. Bought during an excellent sale at Premier Cru, this wine is easily worth $20+, and is a terrific match with spicy or richly sauced foods.
